Be sure to have selected a good output port in the midi window or in the options preference menu
Check the mixer

Be sure it is a real kar format (with the editor) A kar file has lyrics in meta text.
If no, rename the kar extention to mid.
If it doesn't resolve the problem, please send it to me by email

The midi player is  tuned to external (which mean you want to use another player than KaraWin to play it).
Please, change it to internal on the Option preference menu.

If something strange happens to KaraWin and if you dont find the solution, try to use the Help - Reset menu.

If it doesn't resolve the problem try the ultimate solution: with the regedit.exe software delete  the HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software KaraWin entry.
Warning, you must be sure of your  computer experience to do this action. It may be dangerous for your computer.

Your computer or your graphic driver is too low. Try to lower the number of colors or uncheck the  "Vertical smooth display" on the lyrics window.

Simply unregister the old one and register the new one.

A CDG (also written CD-G, CDG, CD G, CD Graphic, CD Graphics) is an audio CD with a subcode added to include some graphics instructions to display lyrics on a TV or computer. The audio part of this cd can be read anywhere on any players, but the CD or DVD player must be compatible with the subcode extraction to enable KaraWin to display the lyrics. Many new players are now compatible.
A MP3+G is simply the audio part coded in mp3 and the subcode in a cdg file extention. Both files (mp3+cdg) are called MP3+G.

In order to create your own kar file from a midi file and a text file, you need to use karakan.exe. This freeware is available on the Download page
